Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then she appeared in a number of Broadway performances before she was a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. Her album, It's too late for Tina in the following year. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary, although she made a mark as a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three and she continued to live there throughout in the adolescent years and childhood. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
