Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the United States. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. In New York, she was born into an creative family. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. The first two films she made were noticed and she received recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was published. MacGraw got married to three different people.
