Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head girl and gained straight As in her A-levels. When discussing her character on Emmerdale, Coleman said that she regrets not having had a typical college experiences. Coleman, while still at the high school system, was a student of the theatre company In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was rewarded, and the play received favorable reviews. Coleman won the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. Coleman won two awards in the year 2007. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards, for the British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman in the Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman was the replacement for Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor since Arthur Darvill left the series, would be playing the role of Matt Smith. Moffat picked her for the role due to how well she could work together with Smith and also because she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her career has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. But she's been more well-known on television rather than in movies. In the many roles Eva has appeared in on television shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that are the most notable. In the latter, she even received two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards as well as gave her the chance to express her creative side through music. Eva is a businesswoman, in addition to an actress. Eva has three husbands and a child from the second.
