Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has received Emmy awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for another 27 seasons. Ina began to write Nuclear energy and policy documents in the White House. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she lost her interest in it and purchased a small specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful for 18 years, until she decided to let it go. Then she began writing the first book. Then, a number of books were released and she also contributed to magazine articles. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies to equipment and storage containers. Ina is a self-taught cook that hasn't been to a cooking class or been in a kitchen. She is a simple cook and for her entertaining manner. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet and Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
