Zoe-perry
Perry was born on July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the character. However, her parents did not let her perform until she was an adult, for fear of the impact stress might affect their child. Perry claimed that she was too shy to act at the age of 16, but she began acting at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred to the university from Boston University. When she graduated, Perry relocated to New York to search for jobs on television, landing small parts in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent however, her homesickness led her back to California where she found acting work. Perry was a part of the cast with her mother in The Other Place at Broadway at the end of 2013. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie with her in the year 2015. Perry was featured nine times on the ABC film The Family, in 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal, starring her dad. The same year, she played a young version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother in a youthful version. She was cast in the role in an audition that was open despite having a connection to this role.
